A safe ramp is made from a strong material, installed by a knowledgeable professional at an angle that allows for safe access and has safety measures such as toe guards, handrails and vertical picket rails as needed. 

A safe ramp will start and end with a flat, level, hard surface and contain rest platforms so there is no more than 30’ of continuous ramping.
